Donna completed a Bachelor of Applied Science at the University of Canberra, majoring in Sports Science. Following this, she finished a research Honours and began work as part of the Sports Science team at the AIS. She continued academic study and completed a Masters in Physiotherapy where she attained the Best Overall Academic Achievement Award and numerous other University awards. Since completing her Masters degree Donna has worked in Private Practices within Canberra. She worked for two years with a local AFL team and is also aligned with Black Mountain Rowing Club. She has continued further education in the areas of pelvic dysfunction, hydrotherapy and biomechanics of the foot and lower quadrant. Her Physiotherapy interests include Musculoskeletal, Hydrotherapy, Orthopaedic inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and treating sport related injuries. She uses a variety of techniques with a focus on physical rehabilitation. As a former Olympian in the sport of rowing, Donna understands the demands of elite sport and the need to manage injuries through training and competition loads. She looks forward to treating the elite athlete or weekend warrior.
